Avon Motor Caravans was founded in 1974 by Jim Strachan and Ian Lewis, joined in 1982 by Ant Will. 35 years later, after the untimely death of Jim Strachan in 2002, the business is run by Ant Will and his wife Pam with the occasional visit from Ian Lewis (Tiny) who is trying very hard to retire. Ant still runs the workshop and sales while Pam does the admin' and sales. There is a policy of no hard selling and the customers happiness with their purchase is the most important part of any transaction.
For several years we have been one of the leading dealers for Romahomes. We feel that because we are a small company we can look after our customers better than large, faceless dealerships and we know our warranty and after-sales policy is second to none.
